Color Shuffle
Getting to know the medium of color experimentally and creatively from the choice of color, to mixing and painting. In individual large-format pictures, the colors become bright color surfaces and works of art. The workshop content is tailored to the age of the participants.
The youngest participants, children from the age of 4, await a variety of experiments with color. They will playfully explore mixing shades of color. What color is the result when red is mixed with blue? What colors did people use thousands of years ago? How does liquid paint differ from viscous paint? In several steps the children try out different paints and create their own colorful works of art.
A special highlight is blotting and splashing with paint in the paint spinner. With lots of fun and curiosity, it's all about trying out and discovery.
For older participants, the workshop offers the opportunity to get to know the medium of paint in an experimental and creative way.
How are fine color nuances created? What spectrum of colors do natural sources such as charcoal and soil offer? What effect do the colors have on the paper? Small personal color compositions are created, as well as large colorful works through teamwork with experimental tools.
The workshop module is combined with a short museum tour. The guided tour can be chosen flexibly to best suit the group. This ensures that the experience is tailored to the needs and interests of the participants.
