Drawing
LINE BY LINE
Line by line, participants gain an insight into drawing techniques such as hatching with pen and ink, pastels or pencil, before trying their hand at a fully composed drawing. The workshop content is tailored to the age of the participants.
Drawing experiments await the youngest participants, children aged 6 and over: How are dots, lines and blobs made with pen and ink? How are colors mixed together with colored pencils? Which colors stand out on dark paper? The children's motor skills and concentration are challenged, as well as their enjoyment of experimentation.
The older participants delve deeper into the techniques of drawing. In various exercises, the teenagers deal with the basics of hatching, the use of light and shadow and composition. They develop an understanding of various drawing techniques that can be applied in their own work. Through experimentation, the creative expressiveness of the participants is encouraged and their self-confidence in their own artistic abilities is strengthened.
The workshop module is combined with a short museum tour. The guided tour can be chosen flexibly to best suit the group. This ensures that the experience is tailored to the needs and interests of the participants.
