Off-kilter Photography

Potatoes fly through the air, shards of broken plates cover the kitchen floor. The German artist couple Anna and Bernhard Blume are internationally renowned for their photographs of bizarre domestic scenes. Children explore the fascinating photographs with all their senses. What makes these seemingly snapshots so special? Why do these scenes seem so out of the ordinary? Stories, games and staged scenes bring the photographs to life and encourage imagination and creative thinking.

During the 90-minute guided tour, the children implement their own ideas in the creative section by designing photo productions with drawings and the Book Creator. This creative process allows them to express their ideas and stories in pictures and gain their first experience of photography and image design.
