of Kunstmeile Krems Betriebs GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Kunstmeile Krems) applies to Kunsthalle Krems, Karikaturmuseum Krems, Landesgalerie Niederösterreich, Forum Frohner and Artothek Niederösterreich

1. These house rules govern the use of all available premises, including all associated outdoor facilities. All employees and visitors, as well as tenants and their employees, who are present on the premises are subject to these house rules. The visitor acknowledges the house rules and agrees to abide by them. Persons under the influence of alcohol may be refused entry.

2. The buildings/exhibition premises may only be entered via the entrances or driveways provided and approved as necessary. Access to all technical rooms, workshops, depots, storage rooms and cellars is only permitted to authorized persons. Authorized persons are employees of Kunstmeile Krems and persons instructed and authorized by them.

3. The carrying and use of umbrellas, sticks or similar, handbags, bags and backpacks larger than 30 x 20 cm and weapons of any kind (knives, firearms, brass knuckles, pepper spray, etc.) in the buildings/exhibition rooms is strictly prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to touch the exhibits. Furniture may not be removed from its place. The person causing the damage will be held liable for any damage to the exhibits and museum equipment. The instructions of the supervisory staff must be obeyed immediately; offenders will be ejected from the premises or reported to the police.

4. Supervisors are authorized to conduct unannounced inspections of bags and backpacks.

5. Image and sound recordings of works of art and objects marked as such are prohibited for copyright reasons. Image and sound recordings may only be used for private purposes and may not be published. Photographs may only be taken without flash, tripod or selfie stick. Professional photographers should contact the press office in advance for special permission. In the case of photo, television or film recordings, the visitor agrees that the recordings (image, film, video) made by him/her during or in connection with the event/the exhibition visit may be used without remuneration within the framework of the usual evaluation.

6. The use of radios, loudspeakers and electronic games is prohibited, as is any noise that exceeds normal levels.

7. The current opening hours are posted at the entrance. Unless otherwise stated, the closing of the exhibition rooms will be announced by loudspeaker shortly before and the rooms must be vacated immediately.

8. Posters and other notices in or on the building may only be displayed by authorized persons of Kunstmeile Krems in the places provided for this purpose, subject to the space available.

9. The consumption of food, beverages and ice cream is permitted only in the designated areas. Special attention is drawn to the fact that food and beverages may not be taken into the exhibition rooms.

10. All premises must be kept clean.

11. Smoking and the use of naked flames are strictly prohibited in all buildings/premises. Reference is made to the Fire Safety Regulations, which are binding on all employees and visitors.

12. Upon the sounding of the fire alarm, the building / exhibition grounds must be evacuated immediately by the shortest route. Do not use the elevator.

13. Pets are not allowed.

14. No liability is assumed for the locker room.

15. Supervisors are authorized to close showrooms for safety reasons. Their orders must also be obeyed. Violators may be ejected from the premises and will not receive a refund of the admission fee.

16. In case of damage caused by failure to comply with the house rules and fire safety regulations, full personal liability is assumed. Parents are responsible for their children.

17. Escape routes, exits and access routes must remain unobstructed. In the event of a power failure, escape routes must be maintained.

18. The project manager on duty, as the authorized representative of the Kunstmeile Krems management, has the final decision-making authority in crisis or dangerous situations vis-à-vis the employees of the Kunstmeile Krems, the public and any external service providers, (cooperation) partners and the like.

19. In case of celebrations or special events, the closing time and thus the time to evacuate the building is determined by the Project Manager on duty.

20. Items found must be brought to the office immediately and will be returned upon proof of ownership.
