Visit us without barriers

The institutions of the Kunstmeile Krems and all exhibition spaces are designed to be barrier-free. The institutions have all the necessary ramps, handrails, sliding doors, a lift, low hanging of the artworks, easy-to-read labels, a service-oriented cash desk, barrier-free shop area, designated parking spaces, wheelchair-accessible toilets, and much more.

All necessary elevators and ramps are installed. Please ask our service staff on site for support and assistance. No animals (pets) are allowed in the museum. If you have an assistance dog (noted on your ID), you may take it into the exhibition. Please inform the ticket office in advance.

To ensure an educational and exciting visit to the museum, we value easy-to-read wall texts in our exhibitions. Accessible accompanying texts and biographical details of the artists are just as much a part of our services as personal support from experienced art educators with pedagogical training. Seating facilities are provided in some of the exhibition rooms. Wheelchairs and lightweight folding chairs are available free of charge at the ticket desk.

2 parking lots at the south-eastern part of the Landesgalerie NÖ, access Steiner Donaulände or Ringstraße.
3 parking lots along Steiner Landstraße, opposite the entrance to the Karikaturmuseum Krems.
