Friends of the Kunstmeile Krems enjoy free admission to our museums all year round.

There is no annual pass for regular visitors to the Kunstmeile Krems.

The SUPER.KOMBITICKET entitles you to one-time admission to the exhibition venues of the Kunstmeile Krems (Forum Frohner/Salon Krenek, Kunsthalle Krems, Landesgalerie Niederösterreich, Karikaturmuseum Krems, museumkrems [end of March - mid-November]).

The tickets can be used on different days and are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

The Poldi Fitzka restaurant on the first floor of the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich pays particular attention to regional products. The restaurant can also be hired for events outside of regular opening hours.

The institutions of the Kunstmeile Krems and all exhibition spaces are designed to be barrier-free. The institutions are equipped with all necessary ramps, handrails, sliding doors, an elevator, low hanging artworks, easy-to-read labels, a service-oriented cash desk, designated parking spaces, wheelchair accessible toilets, and much more. All of our museums have museum shops. These offer a wide range of new products related to current exhibitions - also on Sundays or online.

You will find exciting publications such as exhibition catalogues and illustrated books on artists, selected specialist literature, children's books, modern design articles and products from the region.

For security reasons, backpacks and large bags are not allowed in the galleries. Free safe deposit boxes are available in each museum. Please leave valuables in the lockers provided (deposit: € 1 or € 2).

It is not permitted to eat or drink in the exhibition halls. The carrying of liquids is also not permitted. 

Images, videos and audio recordings are generally permitted for personal use. For copyright reasons, it is not permitted to take pictures or record sound of specially marked works of art or objects. Photographs may only be taken without flash, tripod or selfie stick. Professional photographers should contact the Press Office in advance for special permission.

Free WiFi is available during your visit.

Some seating is available in the exhibition rooms. Wheelchairs and lightweight folding chairs are available free of charge at the ticket desk.

Free checkrooms are available in every museum. Please leave valuables in the lockers provided (deposit: € 1 or € 2).

Dogs are not permitted in the museum. You may of course take your assistance dog (noted on your ID card) into the exhibition. Please let the ticket office know in advance.

If the event is not fully booked, you can also purchase tickets at the museum ticket office at short notice. However, we recommend that you buy your tickets early in our online store.

No, tickets for events cannot be reserved.

The visit can take place as part of a booked guided tour or as an individual visit without a guided tour. Please note that groups without a guided tour must also be registered. Further information on booking can be found here: 

Guided tours can be booked for all institutions of the Kunstmeile Krems in German and English. We will be happy to send you our workshop offer on request. We are happy to advise you on the choice of topics and dates.

Let us know the specifics of your group, your desired theme, and any other relevant details when you make your reservation. We will pass this information on to our art mediators.

The NÖ-Card and other discounts and promotions are not valid for group offers.

Contact us as soon as possible by phone or email to change or cancel a reservation.

Cancellation up to 5 working days before the booking date: no cancellation fee

Cancellation up to 2 business days before the booking date: 50% of the booking fee

Cancellation less than 2 business days before the booking date: 100% of the agency fee

On the day of your visit, you will receive your tickets with your booking confirmation at the ticket office.

Payment is made on site (in cash or by credit card) or by invoice.

Always provide the full billing address when booking.

The booked tour format starts on time. If you arrive late, the tour time will be shortened. We recommend that you allow at least 10 minutes for processing at the ticket office and checkroom.

Yes, you can both buy and borrow art at Kunstmeile Krems. Our editions are available at the cash desks of the respective houses, provided they are not sold out. And if you would like to borrow art for your walls, then the Artothek is the right place for you. 

The Kunstmeile Krems is photogenic from every angle, but special spots for the perfect selfie include Mr. and Mrs. Austria in front of the Caricature Museum Krems, as well as the roof terrace of the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich with a view of the Danube and the old town of Stein.
